About Us
Driven by Lived Experience. Fueled by Hope.
From a Village Dream to a Movement of Hope
Motema Foundation was born from lived experience. Our founder, Kingsley Tawiah Hagan, was raised by his grandmother in a rural community where life was difficult and resources were extremely limited.
School fees were costly, learning materials were scarce, and staying in school often meant hardship. Yet his grandmother believed education was the only path to a better future.
Through her sacrifices, he completed his education successfully. But sadly, the same struggle continues today for many children. Motema Foundation was created to ensure that no child is denied education because of poverty.
"Education is not a privilege. It is a right that every child deserves."
